Shot schedule feedback

Clearly illustrates each day of shooting for the production of our main task.

States when and where any resources are used during the filming of our main task.

It allows us to stay on task and informs us of what filming needs to be done that day so we keep on track to the shot schedule.
Gives a rough estimate when the filming of our main task will be completed.

It shows that we are organised and thoroughly thought through what we are going to do.

We’ve clearly thought about the filming days on the shot schedule such as the villains wearing the suits along with the main character James Fong so we do not have to continuously wear our costumes throughout the filming even though we may not even be filmed that day.

Planned days for each of the characters to do there filming e.g Monday-Villains, Tuesday-James Fong, Wednesday-Em (these are not the actual days just a example).

If we do not complete the filming planned on the shot schedule we should add an extra day to complete the filming as if we carry on with the previous filming to another day on the schedule it will much up our days so we do not get a knock on affect.

We will make sure that we stick to the days plan on the shot schedule and do not over run the plan or go off task and film a completely different scene.

The shot schedule determines the budget of our film making as it shows what we will need for the filming such as costumes and props.

Will allow our filming to be run efficiently and smoothly and as we are filming in such a short time we must make sure we use every minute advantageously.

Some of the film sets are out of our control such as the outdoors as rain may prevent use from filming, so therefore we may have to change the location on the shot schedule or we will just reschedule the day of filming.

Each day has been selected so the whole team will be there and no one will be missing out as by doing this the whole group will know what going on.

MAIN TASK- MUSIC - HARRY YOUNG

Music

Throughout our production, we will be using sounds and music to create an atmosphere we want. To stick true to the James Bond theme, we will use their soundtrack and we may conduct our own using instruments of our choice. We will also be using Beethoven to introduce the villains as I feel it would suit perfectly and certain songs will make them seem sinister and create a tense atmosphere. An instrumental by Highway Blues will be used in our second production/distribution logo as we used it in our preliminary task and we decided as a group that we would use it again as we felt it would be suitable for the logo. I will make sure that when editing, the soundtrack will match up with the actions that occur, meaning that loud notes occur when something important happens or so that it goes along with the actors movement.

MAIN TASK - RISK ASSESSMENT - HARRY YOUNG

Risk Assessment - Main Task 

- When filming outside, we will have to make sure the weather is clear so that equipment isn't damaged and that injuries acquired from scenery do not occur. 

- We will also make sure that if we film near a road that the threat from cars is neutralized by checking the roads when we film.

- We will make sure that conflict with other humans doesn't occur for our personal safety. 

- We will make sure the hazard of wires protruding  from the camera will be covered by some sort of sheet in the possible case of someone tripping. 

- We will make sure that no members of the crew will smoke on set in the case of FIRE. We shall make sure that all ciggeys are put out and all burns are consumed fully (to the filter).

- To prevent hazards when using a tripod, we will make sure it is placed on even ground to prevent toppling and breakage. We will also make sure they're packed away properly so nobody trips.

- Due to us using a TOY gun, we will make sure it isn't loaded with any sort of ammunition (e.g BBs, Hollow points, Potatoes) for the obvious reason being to avoid injury of the crew and general public.

- We will make sure that if we are filming in an old location  (e.g warehouse, factory) we will scan the area for structural weakness so that we aren't crushed by ceilings or we don't fall through floors.

Harry

During the making of our task Harry will be playing the role of ‘Em’ throughout the 2 minute opening. The costume that Harry will be wearing will be a blouse that we will borrow from the drama department; the use of the blouse will clearly establish that Harry is going to be playing the role of a female.

Scott

For the main task Scot will be playing the role of a villain and the costume that we will require for this role will be a Black 2 piece suit with a red tie. The red tie is used to indicate who the two villains are in the opening and we chose the colour red as it will stand out with the black suit.

Mason

  Mason will also be playing the role of a villain in the making of our main task. Mason will also be wearing the Black suit with the red tie to show that he is playing the role of a villain along with Scott. We chose to use the suit and red tie as we both have black suits and that we look smart when playing our roles.

Yuxin

Yuxin is going to be the main character throughout the opening and he is going to be playing the role of ‘James Fong’. The main character has to be clearly established in the opening so we have decided to make the main character wear a grey 2 piece suit with a bow tie. We decided to choose the grey suit as it is a different colour and he will stand out from the others in the opening so he will be easily identified.

We will be using a toy gun with the character James Fong as he is an agent and it is stereotypical for an agent to have a gun within films. We are using a toy gun so we avoid any dangers associated with having a real one.

For the role of Em harry will be wearing a blue tooth device in his ear to indicate he is wearing a ear piece, we choose to use the blue tooth device as it looks like an ear piece and we don’t have access to money to be able to buy an actual ear piece

Brief case/Suit Case

The two villains with the main task will be carrying either a brief case or a suit case to resemble the smart look along with the suit. We chose to use tis prop to show that they look like they belong in the working class and that they are important as people high up in the work place and people with important roles carry round with them a brief case.
